MarshaKatz
The USO has been a tremendous morale booster for our military forces all over the globe. War is war, and it stinks (I hope I can say that), no matter the decade. It's interesting, however, to see the names and the variety of entertainers who have performed or have gone overseas just to shake the hands of the men and women in our nation's military who have been in harm's way. The two I've quoted remind me of GUESS WHO'S COMING TO DINNER (another story about miscegenation) and RAIN MAN. Also, we could mention MASK-- which covers the angle of teen disfigurement.
