TopBilled
Chicago Now I need to go back and re-view ROXIE HART, the version with Ginger Rogers that was made during the production code era. To see how they handled some of those dicey plot points.

TopBilled
There's a lot of condoned killing in OLD YELLER. The cow Rose is shot, when it is learned she has rabies. Then, a rabid wolf is shot and killed. But since it has bitten Old Yeller, then Travis has to kill the dog, too. Life on a farm certainly wasn't easy.

LonesomePolecat
Speaking of men named Carol, my mom told me a funny story. When she was a kid she went to see OLIVER! with those special printed programs they used to have. She saw a picture of Carol Reed, the director, and thought, "That is the ugliest woman I've ever seen!"
