T.B. I've seen it a couple of times and thoroughly enjoyed the film. The three leads are terrific.

Thanks Marsha. I think there were some sequels too. Somehow I've never seen any of them. But I doubt I was part of the target audience.

CARMEN JONES -- musical version of the CARMEN opera

"BARNABY JONES"

LIBERATION OF LB JONES

I'm including the film THIS IS THE ARMY because the title refers to the Irving Berlin song "This Is the Army, Mr Jones" --in other words, part 2 of the film's title is "MR JONES"

Bridget Jones's Diary (2001)

Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason (2004) This one apparently got the worst reviews, but I laughed the most with this one. Even the title is funny -- at least to me.

Bridge Jones's Baby (2016)

There are rumors about a fourth Bridget Jones film, but none have appeared so far (and I am keeping track!).

I agree, and I would include all the Bridget Jones sequels (two of them), too.

The words of a fan. :)

I'll have to watch the first one when I get a chance.

I realize this is part of yesterday's ClassiCategories topic, however, there's a delightful British movie which was aired on PBS in 2002 called ME & MRS. JONES starring Robson Green and Caroline Goodall. I liked it so much I purchased the DVD and have watched it numerous times since.
