- Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937) *Snow White almost being murdered, and then being poisoned.*

- Cinderella (1950) *Cinderella being physically and emotionally abused every day of her life. Also having her father die at such a young age.*

- Sleeping Beauty (1959) *Aurora finding out her life was different than what she thought, and pricking her finger.*

- The Little Mermaid (1989) *Ariel gives up her voice for the one person she is infactuated with. He then turns around and is ready to marry someone else so quickly.*

- Beauty and the Beast (1991) *Belle choosing to be held captive for the rest of her life and seeing the town try to take her father to the loony bin.*

- Aladdin (1992) *Aladdin being knocked out and almost drowning to death. Seeing the consequences of not keeping your promises and what it can do to your friends.*

- The Searchers (1956) *Ethan Edwards' family is either attacked and murdered or attacked and kidnapped. Not only is it painful for the victims, but for surviving friends and family to think about. Debbie Edwards also had her whole family taken from her and had to adjust to living with her family's murderers.*

- Witness for the Prosecution (1957) *I won't give anything away in this one. If you were in the shoes of the characters at the end of this film, you would remember it as a painful experience.*

- Doctor Zhivago (1965) *How life starts out one way, and how major political upheaval can make things go from bad to destitute.*

- Carrie (1976) *Carrie, that poor girl was bullied nonstop. Everything she endured had to leave painful memories always.*

- Mississippi Burning (1988) *Mrs. Pell, James Chaney, Andrew Goodman, Michael Schwerner, African American citizens of 'Jessup County', and anybody supporting Civil Rights become victims of the hoodlums.*

- Cross of Fire (1989) *Madge Oberholtzer character and her family and friends suffer in this miniseries based on a true story. (I didn't want to give spoilers in case people haven't seen it).*

Basic Instinct (1992) *From the first nude man murdered in the opening sequence down to the last victim of the film - ouch.*

Schindler's List (1993) *Oskar Schindler starts out as less than caring about the lives of his workers. He grows to become a guardian and sheltering many Jewish people to save them from the concentration camps and death. His pain about remorse and guilt comes out near the end of the film. Not to mention the suffering that millions in Europe's Jewish populations had to endur.*

I love ClassiCategories! It's my personal favorite forum. Stagecoach is an interesting category, but I'm having a hard time coming up with anything that fits perfectly.

Beverly Hills, 90210 (1990-2000) The Real McCoy (1995) episode was about Dylan (RIP Luke Perry) in the wild west.

Holes (2003) has a stagecoach scene (..I think..?)

Last Man Standing (2011-Present) Buffalo Bill Day (2013) episode heavily uses a stagecoach.

**** (2000), about Jackson ****; apparently TCM doesn't like the last name ****!

Girl with a Pearl Earring (2003)

The Goldfinch (2019)

Van Gogh films: Lust for Life (1956), Van Gogh (1991), Loving Vincent (2017), At Eternity's Gate (2018), and it looks like there will be a new one in 2020 called simply Van Gogh.

An American in Paris (1951) *Gene Kelly is an American GI who stays in Paris after the war and becomes an artist*

Cash McCall (1960) *Natalie Wood is an artist, plays a role that becomes important for the middle/end of the film - 'Robin Hood'*

I Love Lucy (1951-1957) There were several episodes dedicated to art. The two that come to mind are 'Lucy Becomes a Sculptress' (1953) and Paris at Last (1956). ❤😂
