The Oscar (1966), starring Tony Bennett, Stephen Boyd, Elke Sommer, Milton Berle. I thought Tony Bennett did a pretty good job in a dramatic role that required no singing at all.

Force Majeure (2014) is a Swedish film that I recently learned has been remade in Hollywood (of course) and is scheduled for release in 2020. The Hollywood release is called Downhill.

I would have no  hope at all that the Hollywood remake would be any good if it weren't for the fact that it is starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Will Ferrell. Although I still have trouble imagining that they have turned it into a comedy because the original from Sweden is definitely not a comedy.
