A Wrinkle in Time (read the book but didn't see the movie)

Two I cheated on with Google

Little Man Tate

Shine

Not a movie, but Young Sheldon.

Also, while it is off-topic, it would be interesting to see a category on genius/madness.  For example, I get the feeling that the Leopold and Loeb type characters in Hitchcock's Rope were probably "geniuses" or "gifted" as young children.  Robert Walker in Strangers on a Train is another example.  From personal experience, being gifted but social distant from your peers can have serious consequences (e.g., suicide).

We did a category (#606) called Geniuses. But it was different from the Child Prodigy idea, because it included adults. I think one of the examples was Clifton Webb's character, Mr. Belvedere. You can go back in the thread and find all the examples that were given.

One we haven't done yet is a category on suicides in the movies...which we can certainly cover.

If you have other ideas, feel free to private message me or post them here on the thread. I keep a list of all the ones we've done so far in order to prevent duplicates.

You've been a good contributor. Thank you so much.

Not sure how to send a message to you about topics.

Village of the Damned (anything with creepy kids scares me)

The Original The Wicker Man (gave me nightmares) with Edward Woodward.  The remake with Nicholas Cage was dreadful.

I sent a message to you. Find the envelope in the upper right hand corner of your screen. You'll see my message and can reply to it.

Hope that helps!

Seems like all of William Boyd's Hopalong Cassidy movies have similar titles: RENEGADE TRAIL, SUNSET TRAIL, TEXAS TRAIL, PRIDE OF THE WEST, HEART OF THE WEST, IN OLD COLORADO, IN OLD MEXICO, etc

This reminds me of a Private Screenings interview Robert Osborne did with Mickey Rooney. When they discussed these films, Mickey said (and I am paraphrasing): "We did so many Babes movies, that I'm surprised we didn't do one called BABES ON BABES."
