You'll have to watch the movie and be surprised. The Kim family is revealed to be fraudsters in the first five minutes of the movie. But it's what happens later, a chain of events started by their fraud, where the movie really goes in some unexpected directions. TopBilled
In PHONE CALL FROM A STRANGER (1952) Gary Merrill plays a writer who calls/visits the family members of people who died in a plane crash. It was a plane he had been on himself, meaning he met some of these fellow passengers before they were killed. His visits are powerful. His visits change lives. Highly recommend this film! Especially the last sequence where he goes to see an invalid played by Bette Davis. 1
