Say Nothing: A True Story of Murder and Memory in Northern Ireland is a 2019 book by Patrick Radden Keefe that mentions Stephen Rea. Seems Rea had some ties to the IRA. It's a really good book, too. I wouldn't be surprised if the book is made into a film at some point.

I thought the same thing when I saw that picture of Stephen Rea.  Rea's wife, Dolours Price, had ties with the IRA.   Say Nothing is a very compelling read.

Dolours Price dies a while ago now. She and her sister were quite active in the IRA. But I'll say no more.

I read Say Nothing because I heard the author in an interview about his book say that he was researching a murder mystery and inadvertently solved it by the time his research was done.  Fascinating interview and fascinating book. Well worth a read, so no spoilers from moi!

By the way, if you are a fan of Stephen Rea, he's really good in a four-part murder mystery called Flesh and Blood that's showing on PBS stations.

Yes, I agree...but by then, she was busy with a weekly television series.
