The Quiet Man by Maurice Walsh. Published in The Saturday Evening Post

Heritage and the Quiet Man – Shotguns and Sugar

My Foolish Heart (1949) based on JD Salinger 's Uncle Wiggly in Connecticut.  Published in The New Yorker. This was the only authorized film adaptation of a Salinger work.  He so disliked the liberties My Foolish Heart had taken with his original story that he never OK'd another screen adaptation.
