lydecker
Worth watching? Worth taping? I never heard of it but it sounds . . .interesting. Lydecker
Dargo
Well, I CAN tell you that I usually prefer most of it being removed from my morning orange juice, anyway. However lydecker ol' buddy, if you might actually be talking about that Michael Caine/Mickey Rooney movie made in '72 that TCM is showing tomorrow morning, some dude by the name of J. Pasteur in Norwich England gave it a fairly glowing review about a dozen years ago in the IMDb website here... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0069134/
Mr. Gorman
I wonder if Quention Tarantino got the idea for his 1994 movie movie title from this?
slaytonf
Pulp is fun as a spoofy pesudo-noir (if that's a legitimate term), about a hack pulp writer hired to write a biography of a retired mob boss. For all its comedy, there's a lot of hard violence and mayhem.
misswonderly3
I wonder if Quention Tarantino got the idea for his 1994 movie movie title from this? Not necessarily. "Pulp Fiction" is a fairly common term.
JamesJazGuitar
Worth watching? Worth taping? I never heard of it but it sounds . . .interesting. Lydecker The movies is somewhat confusing and rambling but it was interesting. It also has Elizabeth Scott as well as some nice location scenes of Malta where the film was shot. Rooney is a riot but also borders on camp so liking what he does in this film is very subjective.

lydecker
Well, I taped it so we'll see. Mick in his underwear? That's probably worth watching even if the rest of the film tanks. Lydecker

kingrat
My favorite moment in PULP is when the Mick pulls back a mirror to reveal another mirror underneath it. Those stars just can't help looking at themselves!
