dodger
Can someone help me I'm trying to remember an old British movie about British NCO's that are in Africa and a revolution is starting. They are confined to the NCO Mess while this is going on and I believe a couple of civilians get caught up in the situtation. Also there was a British Sergeant Major thatt was somewhat calm throughout the ordeal. If I remeber right the main part of the movie takes placethroughout the night. I'm guessing it was shot in the mid 50's to early 60's and I believe it was B/W Does anyone remember this movie? Thanks any help would be great.
filmfashions345
It sounds a lot like Sundown, with Bruce Cabot as the calm officer and Gene Tierney, Joseph Calleia and Harry Carey, Sr. as the civilians.
Walt
The movie is "Guns at Batasi" (1964), with Richard Attenborough playing the Sergeant Major, Jack Hawkins as the Colonel, and a great supporting cast of British character actors.
