jacktothefuture
Hi everyone, first time poster here. I'd be grateful for any info you could give. The illustration below was part of a Hollywood collage on a piece of fabric. This is the only image we have of it. We're currently trying to screen match the scene but have thus far been unsuccessful. Also, the line running across the top of the male's head is a seam in the fabric, not a hat brim. So far we have tried: The Razor's Edge: Gene Teirney and Herbert Marshall Casablanca: Bogart and Bergman The Clock: Garland and Walker Bogart and Bacall (Various) Thanks! film lover 293
jamesjazzguitar--Thank you for the photo enlargement. jacktothefuture--from the wide forehead, 40's hairstyle & eyes, the woman (I think) is Barbara Stanwyck--possibly the man is Fred MacMurray (he did have a large nose)--Double Indemnity (1944)? slaytonf
Yeah, guess I'd go for B & B. Can't say if it's from any particular movie. Maybe it's just a pose. But if it is from one, my choice would be To Have and To Have Not.

Movie Collector OH
The girl looks like Garbo. I checked and the hairline is different. Garbo parted her hair on her left, this woman on her right.
film lover 293
Thank you MovieCollector OH--I never would have thought of Robert Walker. The woman (I think) is Jennifer Jones in "Since You Went Away" (1944).

If the picture is a painting, it could be a slightly modified version of this photo:
jacktothefuture
Thanks for all the input so far everyone, I've been working my way through footage and stills from what you've all suggested. I've not found a screen match yet, so I'm starting think it may be a modified version of an image (like some of you have suggested). All of the suggestions have been a massive help.
