DJBeacon
shutoo, what is the correct answer? Thanks.
shutoo
I'm so sorry! You're correct, DJBeacon, it's Barbara Pepper. Hard to believe that the role she may be best known for today, is playing Arnold Ziffel's 'mom' on Green Acres considering she started out as a Ziegfeld show girl with hopes of becoming one of the screen's bombshells. It's kind of sad..her husband died suddenly, and she got a lot of help from old pals, like Lucille Ball, to get bit parts to support her kids...she died very young too, 54. I think she looks quite 'Harlow' in her early photos: Your thread, DJBeacon!
