That takes away the challenge of the whole thing. LOL

So I'm going to pass and let somebody else take it.

I will reveal the answer later today if nobody guesses it. I don't like it when games get stuck (sometimes they get stuck for weeks).

I think it's better to move things forward. :)

There's nothing wrong with giving a hint that's General.

But when the hint is so specific as to the initials of the performer, then it takes all the fun out of my challenge.

I'm like one of my Terriers when they're after that ball. That's what I enjoy about these games. LOL

I am trying not to get into an argument with you. I had edited my previous post before I clicked Submit Reply. It was much harsher.

I feel like you are not flexible with some of these games and it annoys me. I do like a lot of your posting, but I find it unacceptable when you come on to a thread and tell others how to post. It doesn't feel right to me.

I don't see why you chose to disrupt this game. If you didn't want to play this round, why not just sit out quietly? I don't feel I have done anything wrong. As I said, I find it counterproductive for games to get stuck for weeks. And I find it counterproductive to have a protracted argument about this. I gave clues to help move the game along. It was hardly a crime.

Sorry to say that I don't have an argumentative bone in my body. LMREO

All I'm going to say is I love a challenge and that's what keeps me going when I want to have some fun.

It was Nora Marlowe, a great character actress who according to the IMDb racked up 132 credits in a 24 year period. She was very prolific, working in film and televison. Usually she could be seen playing gossipy neighbors, housekeepers or apartment managers. She had a memorable face and voice, but not in a way that drew attention to herself. She made every scene she was in better. I remember her most for the last role she did on The Waltons as Flossie Brimmer.

Thank you Terrence. I'm another fan of Jesse White.

Okay, who was in:

DUCHESS OF IDAHO (1950)
CRISIS (1950)
INSIDE STRAIGHT (1952)
KING RICHARD AND THE CRUSADERS (1954)
THE GUN THAT WON THE WEST (1955)

Sorry, TB, this is what happens when one is sleep deprived.  I meant to say Paula Raymond.

No worries.

Yes, Paula Raymond is the correct answer.

Your turn!

I'm pretty sure I know this one---Ann Robinson?   ("Imitation of Life" helped.)

Correct! She was also in the original WAR OF THE WORLDS.

Your turn.
