jameselliot
Did TCM ever run an Omar Sharif day or evening? If not, I'm disappointed in the programming dept. They moved quickly for Christopher Lee.

AndyM108
TCM will honour Omar Sharif with three of his films on Monday, September 20. I don't see them on the schedule for that day, and I sure hope they're not going to pre-empt any of the detective double features, especially any of those LONG overdue Charlie Chan films beginning at 8:00 PM. EDIT: Never mind, they're scheduled for Monday, September 21st, not the 20th. And they're replacing six completely non-descript movies, so no harm, no foul. GONE: 8:00 PM ONE MILLION B.C. (1940) An exiled caveman finds love when he joins another tribe. Dir: Hal Roach Cast: Victor Mature , Carole Landis , Lon Chaney Jr. . BW-80 mins, 9:30 PM TOPPER RETURNS (1941) A beautiful ghost enlists a henpecked husband to track down her killer. Dir: Roy Del Ruth Cast: Joan Blondell , Roland Young , Carole Landis . BW-88 mins, CC, 11:15 PM ROAD SHOW (1941) A playboy on the run hooks up with a sideshow's beautiful owner. Dir: Hal Roach Cast: Adolphe Menjou , Carole Landis , John Hubbard . BW-87 mins, 1:00 AM TURNABOUT (1940) Battling spouses accidentally switch bodies. Dir: Hal Roach Cast: Adolphe Menjou , Carole Landis , John Hubbard . BW-83 mins, CC, 2:30 AM SECRET COMMAND (1944) A surprise visit from his brother almost blows an undercover agent out of the water. Dir: Eddie Sutherland Cast: Pat O'Brien , Carole Landis , Chester Morris . BW-82 mins, 4:00 AM HAVING WONDERFUL CRIME (1945) Three amateur detectives try to find a missing magician. Dir: Eddie Sutherland Cast: Pat O'Brien , George Murphy , Carole Landis . BW-70 mins, REPLACED BY: 8:00 PM Doctor Zhivago 11:30 PM Funny Girl 2:30 AM Funny Lady

Oh, so its the Monogram ones? Too bad. I was hoping it was the Fox Chans. I should've known! Thanks!
LornaHansonForbes
TURNABOUT is actually pretty fun (once it gets going), but it has been on a lot lately. I am SO SICK of both TOPPER films though.
