Bogie56
The Global Warming phenomenon is an acceleration. But you wouldn't know that as you are already convinced of your own truth. And by the way, if you are so certain of your own truth, why is there the need to preach it to everyone else? Or are you really just in denial and this is the method you use to keep you there? MovieMadness
Global warming? Kurilskoye Lake freezes for first time in 10 years With thermal waters, and the warming effect of the nearby Sea of Okhotsk, this unusual lake normally does not freeze over. But this year its famous Steller's sea eagles have been forced to relocate because the ice holes in which they catch fish have frozen over. Two weeks of calm weather and low temperatures in February - of minus 20C - shackled the surface of the lake with a thick layer of ice.Konstantin Lepsky, state inspector of the Kronotsky State Nature Reserve, said: 'When we patrolled the area, we walked along the lake in snowshoes for about 18 kilometres. **************************************************************************** Lakes should not be freezing like this if global warming was real. MovieMadness
Trudeau needs to PAUSE on global warming religion and look at the science He wants to make sure that Canada has a price on carbon and that we’ll be a green tech leader as we move to a low carbon economy. The media has been so busy asking him questions about his snow boarding capabilities and what his wife will wear to the White House dinner next week that they’ve so far failed to ask him about the climate change that a report by prominent scientists say isn’t happening. ************************************************************** Canada has a lot better things to spend money on than a global warming scam. The study was released by the University of New South Wales in Sydney inn the journal Nature Climate Change. MovieMadness
Driving a Tesla in Singapore incurs $11,000 carbon tax When Elon Musk setup to develop Tesla electric vehicles he was hoping to reduce the carbon footprint of the cars we all drive. A side effect of that being we should face less tax because electric vehicles produce no emissions, at least directly. However, in Singapore driving a Tesla is very expensive, not only because you have to import the car, but because there’s a huge emissions tax associated with each vehicle. It sounds ludicrous, and it kind of is. Joe Nguyen, senior vice president of an Internet research firm, imported a Tesla Model S from Hong Kong for $400,000 (US$289,000). What surprised Nguyen was that on top of this cost the Land Transport Authority was demanding a $15,000 (US$11,000) carbon surcharge. How can that be when the car emits no CO2 when driven? **************************************************************** The electricity for the car has to be generated, and the amount it uses will be taxed. If you want them to tax you like this in the U.S. then vote for the Democrats and find out what global warming is all about - money. This is what Bernie Sanders talks about, a carbon tax. He will rip people off to pay for this scam and keep all the money for himself and his friends, to spend on his expensive social programs. When our economy crashes this will be one of the reasons why it happens, in addition to the other 45% in taxes he raises on us.

In response to Channel NewsAsia's enquiries, LTA explained that the Tesla was tested accordingly to the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe R101 standards, which measures electric energy consumption as well. Apparently, the result was that the electric energy consumption of his Tesla car was 444Wh/km, equivalent to a CO2 emission of 222g/km, which is in the C3 band under the revised CEVS. Cars under that category carry a $15,000 surcharge, which was exactly what Nguyen had to fork out. This government should have looked forward. They should have ensured that there was some kind of plan in place for these workers and their families before it taxed this community out of existence." ***************************************************************************** This is what happens when you let the lefties take control of the economy, they do ridiculous things like a carbon tax that costs a lot of jobs. MovieMadness
Global warming could boost rainfall in world’s deserts Extreme rainfall events in desert areas — like recent storms in Death Valley and Chile’s Atacama Desert — may be partly driven by cyclical climate phenomena like El Niño, but such storms could also become more common in coming decades as the global climate warms.A new study published in the journal Nature Climate Change suggests global warming will boost rainfall in some of the world’s driest regions. Flash flooding in deserts could become commonplace, according to the researchers with the ARC Centre of Excellence for Climate System Science. ******************************************************************* So rainfall in deserts is suppose to be a bad thing? One study says we will all be in a drought, then they come out with a study like this that says even deserts will get more rain. You never know what they will say next. And it is all for more money. MovieMadness
Global warming puts children at risk The UNICEF report declares: “Nearly 160 million children are currently living in areas of high or extremely high drought severity …As temperatures rise due to global climate change more moisture evaporates from land and water, leaving less water behind ...” “Crops fail, livestock dies and income drops, leading to food insecurity for the poor as well as rising food prices. Water becomes scarce and the lack of food and water, as well as inequitable access to these necessities, can result in social disorder. Children are among the most vulnerable to these effects.” ************************************************************************ Here is a great example of an article published on the same day as the one that says we will see increased rain is deserts. But this one says water will become scarce and we will all become hungry, especially children. They come up with whatever they need to scare people, it is either flooding or drought, whatever it takes to get more money for this scam. It can't be more obvious than this. MovieMadness
How cleaner air could actually make global warming worse A significant amount of the climate change caused by greenhouse gas emissions in the past century has been hidden from us, scientists say — by another type of pollution that actually cools the climate and temporarily cancels out some of the warming. Two new studies, both released today in the journal Nature Geoscience, address the powerful influence of aerosols — fine particles or drops of liquid often released by industrial activity — on the climate, and suggest that as nations around the world work to reduce this type of air pollution, we will begin to see more rapid warming than expected. And that could hurt our ability to meet the climate goals set in last year’s Paris Agreement. ********************************************************************** They had to come up with some excuse why we were not having all the global warming they predicted, so this is the solution. Other pollution has caused things not to warm up as fast as they thought. lol And they still expect people to believe them about all of this, even after they admit they were wrong.
