Swithin
Jacques Rivette's Celine and Julie Go Boating (1974) is one of my favorite French films. At 192 minutes, it's too short! It's a gorgeous film, and a fuss should be made of it this 150th anniversary year of Alice in Wonderland, to which it is sort of an homage. But -- In a few weeks, the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) is showing a Rivette rarity: all 13-hours of Noli me Tangere (1971)! Unfortunately, it's being shown in episodes, over several days. If it were over a two-day period, I would go. I'd like to see some Rivette on TCM. http://www.bam.org/film/2015/out-1-noli-me-tangere

laffite
NetF has nine movies but only two are available, Marie et Julien and Around a Small Mountain. Are we excited about these, gentlemen? I don't know much about Monsieur Rivette.
GordonCole
I own a few Rivette films but Celine and Julie Go Boating is my favorite. It might not please all but I think it is worth watching for any film buff.
Swithin
Here's a little trailer for Celine and Julie, to give a taste to those who've never had the pleasure; and an article that was written around the time the film was revived at the Film Forum in NYC, a few years ago: http://www.blouinartinfo.com/news/story/802824/hoberman-revisits-celine-and-julie-go-boating-a-classic#
