amerks96
This is my favorite move of all times by Abbott and Costello. I hope Turner Classic Movies Shows again real soon.
BLU
I love this movie, too. I used to watch it with my siblings when I was a kid. They've shown it twice in recent weeks, once on a Sunday afternoon and again on a weeknight. BLU
eirinn
Oh, that one may very well be my favorite Abbot and Costello film. However, all their movies were great. I also love The Naughty Nineties.
okiemoviebuff
This was one of their best, it is available on Universal's "Franchise Collection" of Abbott and Costello. I invested in the volumes, and they are well worth the money for all the laughs you get! Costello playing a ghost was hilarious!
ken123
I really do not like this film. It was on today on TCM. It is almost as bad a Martin - Lewis film, which is saying a lot.
Gerb
Well, I love it. They're really on top of their game here. It's odd that the only two movies that they did together not as a team both came out in 1946. "Rio Rita" is my favorite, by the way.
Kodaprn
This is one of my favorite Abbott and Costello movies as well. It was actually the first of their movies I ever saw when my parents bought one of the Abbott and Costello DVD sets. It's not one of their funniest movies, but it still has a good storyline, and I love it.
deeanddaisy666
I agree, amerks96. I've loved it since way back when there wasn't cable. I loved it when I was able to tape it from AMC but didn't tape the ending. I loved it when TCM finally programmed it and I was able to tape it, complete with the lovely ending, ods bodkin! I loved watching part of it again yesterday, and was as happy seeing the stars coming down on Costello and Reynolds (I had forgotten how much I loved that satin blouse of hers) for the umpteenth time as I was when I first saw it. Interesting comment by Ben M., that the director worked on several movies with the team after that. In case you couldn't tell, I loved that movie!!!! dolores
MikeBSG
This is one of my favorite Abbott & Costello's. My wife can't stand A & C, but she likes this movie. It is different from their usual in that they don't work together as a team. I have the impression that this one was a bit of a flop back in 1946. I love the part where one of the women asks the creepy housekeeper (Gail Sondergaard) "Didn't I see you in Rebecca?"
jdb1
I enjoyed seeing this one again, too. I think A&C had a sort of checkered career in films: some of their movies are just awful, but others are well-written, well-directed, and their performances are reined - more cinematic than burlesque. Others of theirs I like are "Buck Privates" and especially "The Little Giant."

dsclassic
This is the one my mom likes the best, but she wants it on a stand alone DVD, which it isnt I love the A&C movies and have most of them I am awaiting RIo Rita to get on DVD hopefully in 2008
johnm001
I didn't buy the box set, because the only one I want is The Time of Their Lives. I'm pretty sure my brother has the box, so I borrow his and make a copy. Should I make one for your mom?
dsclassic
No because she has the VHS and is happy with that. However she would like to get rid of all her VHS tapes for DVDs
