ThinMan
A question for tcmprogrammr (or anyone else who can explain): I always enjoy the unadvertised daytime "mini-tributes" as much as the primetime ones, and get a kick out of figuring out the common thread among the films, but I am stumped by the lineup on Dec. 21. Starting at 8:30 am Eastern are "The Honeymoon Machine", "The Horizontal Lieutenant", "The Hallelujah Trail", "Period of Adjustment", "In the Cool of the Day", and "Sunday in New York". Aha! I thought, all are movies with Jim Hutton. And IMDB's Jim Hutton filmography reveals he is in all of these (including an uncredited role in "Sunday in New York") except "In the Cool of the Day". So is Hutton in this, or am I wrong about the theme?
