Movies I used to see on TCM

You know what movies that TCM used to show that I miss? Those ones with Gordon McRae and Doris Day. You know, By the Light of the Silvery Moon and there was another one that I can't remember.

I wonder why I haven't seen them on in awhile. Is it because Turner lost the rights or are they simply passe?

What movies do you miss that you haven't seen in a while?

The other one is On Moonlight Bay, my sentimental favorite because I remember seeing it at the movies when I was a little younger than I am now. It played rather more often on TCM than By the Light of the Silvery Moon did, but neither has run in a while.

They don't belong to the Turner library, but rather to the Warner Bros library. Probably the earlier license on them has expired. You might use the "Suggest a movie" box in the upper right part of the screen.

Quite a few films TCM has not shown in years ... many are early talkie musicals such as:

Show of Shows (1929)

It's a Great Life (1929)

Showgirl in Hollywood (1930)

Mammy (1930)

Big Boy (1930)

Spring is Here (1930)

Sweet Kitty Bellairs (1930)

Some films are grade B horror flicks:

Curse of the Faceless Man (1958)

Return of Dracula (1958)

Magnetic Monster (1953)

Pharaoh's Curse (1957)

And the list goes on. I'm waiting for these films to be aired again some day.
