CaveGirl
If you enjoy seeing old tv interviews that are not twenty seconds long, and feature many famous stars I would suggest you check out the schedule at Get-Tv which is currently showing old Merv shows and the variety shows from Judy. I caught a Merv Griffin show the other day which featured the irrepressible and irascible Oscar Levant, recounting many stories about Hollywood luminaries. The same show also featured the adorable Roddy MacDowall, who I'd never seen interviewed before and also Carol Burnett. Then of course, you also get Shirley's favorite butler, Arthur Treacher. The wit of Oscar was on full display, and he even played a bit of piano. I'm looking forward to the interview with Jayne Mansfield as I think she might bring her poodles on, Momsicle and Popsicle, plus daughter Mariska. Be there or be square. I have caught both the Garland show as well as Merv Griffin on Monday nights. Seeing studio-era stars in these interviews are a treat and if they give a performance that is the icing on the cake.
