judiann
this would be form the 40's, I think. I think the male lead was Fred Mac Murray. Main story : a woman steals money and hides it and gets caught and goes to jail. Fred is involved somehow, she is getting out soon and he wants the money first. He goes to some house(in the south?) she lived in (?) and asks questions. There he meets a very pretty girl who is not quite right mentally, she sings to him over and over Orses fleases in comb beases, knobs have chesus, keys in knobus. It is kind of like pig latin and means horses have fleas and in combs are the bees, the chest has a knob and inside the knob is the key. But Fred doesnt know this, in the meantime a dog keeps running across the cemetary and the dog glows in the dark and this means someone will die soon. I saw this a dozen times as a child and cannot remember the rest sorry but if you can help.........please.
bansi4
It sounds like the hilarious comedy "Murder, He Says" with MacMurray, Helen Walker and Marjorie Main.
