anyone know why "Starlift" never shows up on tv or dvd"s

Recommended Posts

I had never heard of this film until your post, so I looked it up on the imdb. It appears to be a film with lots of cameos by Warner Brothers' stars, including Day, and James Cagney! It's from 1951, directed by Roy Del Ruth and it's a Warner Brothers film, so I'm not sure who would have the rights to it. I believe that TCM only has the Warner library up until 1948? Can anyone else shed some light on this one?

I'm going to request it on the Suggest-A-Movie feature here.

You may have a point about Warners "Starlift" in there libary. Seem to own movies up tp 1950. This was made 1951. TCM shows a lot of Warner movies after that date. Guess Sony's Columbia might own the film, if it still exists.
