jarhfive
How I remembered "The Last Man On Earth". Yesterday, my wife looked up "The Alligator People" (1959) on IMDB (reason not relevant). "The Alligator People" produced by Associated Producers, Incorporated. List of product for Associated Producers, Incorporated includes the Vincent Price film "The Last Man On Earth" (1964). My reaction to the title "The Last Man On Earth" akin to Proust's madeleines (oh, yeah?)--sending me back to my childhood, one of the summer "Watts-Hardy free movie for kids" and a viewing of "The Last Man On Earth". "Watts-Hardy free movie for kids"? Contained within the walls of a local movie theater--one movie, airborne concessions, a hundred plus under-12 kids, two theater 'cops', and a din exceeding a passenger jet. Fun? Was it ever. "The Last Man On Earth" was based on a Richard Matheson story, re-made as "The Omega Man". According to reviews of "The Last Man On Earth", far superior to "The Omega Man". My opinion? Probably better than "The Omega Man"--all I really remember: black and white and scary. Rusty
