markfp2
I was looking up "THEM!" , one of my favorites, on the new database and when I checked the part "AFI Notes" I was shocked to see it stated that it was filmed in 3-D and WarnerColor. That's the first time I ever heard that. While the main title has color lettering that looks like it would work in 3-D, I had never knew of even a suggestion that color and 3-D was the plan. That sure be something if TCM could come up with that version. Anyone else ever hear this? Message was edited by: markfp2
leobertucelli
No - when I first saw it I didn't recall it being in 3d & it was in B&W. I do wish they'd show 'Them' and other great flicks of that type from the 50's. Instead they show in prime time silly silents on one night & next those annimated 'things'; WHo do they think is watching them. I'd love to chat with that programer and ask him please NO DRINKING ON THE JOB!
deeanddaisy666
Leo!! Where you been??? I couldn't agree with you more on the Anime 'things'. Last night I surfed by a bit and the dialogue had to do with...are you ready?...one character picking his nose and wiping it on his sleeve. DAMN, now there's a classic if I ever heard one. leobertucelli
Hi Stoney. Glad we agree BUT y'know I still would love to exchange a few tidbits with the one who selected these ridiculous items AND also, I really don't think Osborn has anything to say or do with what's to be shown. But if so, then I like to add him along with that prograrmer. I mean really, isn't it about time we viewers acquire a semblance of some say??? Of course! U still agree? deeanddaisy666
Leo, based on my readings here of late, and on seeing Ralphie Macchio on Turner 'Classic' Movies, and on reading about nose-picking on Anime Alley, I'll agree with you if you say the moon is made of green cheese. We viewers ain't the viewers of cherce anymore. Look around.

CineSage
I'd love to chat with that programer and ask him please NO DRINKING ON THE JOB! But he's so happy, singing "Make me a sergeant, gimme the booze!" over and over again...
