Anyone know the movie connected with this blooper?

Hello,

Somewhere in this forum I saw a thread called "Favorite Bloopers". The reference reminded me of a blooper I saw on one of those "Most Something...Something Bloopers" television shows--ten to twenty years ago.

The scene:

A lone pilot is flying in what looks like a World War II era plane (maybe bomber). He is either talking to himself or into a microphone. Seemed like a very dramatic moment...maybe he was 'going down'. I am not sure.

The blooper:

A stagehand appears on the other side of the 'perspex' canopy.

The reaction:

Television audience laughs riotously.

Because the blooper clip was only a few seconds long, I did not notice the actor playing the pilot. The host of the TV show may have mentioned the name of the actor, the name of the movie or even the name of the stagehand...I don't remember. Why do I remember that thing to this day? Beats me.

Have you seen this blooper? If so, what movie source?

I have wondered many years (off and on) about this out-take. I have even looked for the scene in aviation themed war movies. No kidding.

Rusty
