ISIS: More Serious Than We're Told

Eh....none of the images came up, so I don't know what any of the photos were suppose to reveal.

And, sorry to say, but to me, the major difference between ISIS and this county's "moral majority" is that ISIS is more heavily armed, and feckless in it's desire to kill for it's own gain.

But ISIS does seem strident in their endless attempt to force their percieved religious tenets down others throats.  Much like many"Christians" in this country try to.  But here, they don't resort to aimless and mindless violence.  But do have a similar "We're right, and you're wrong" attitude.

I have no idea what article you read. Couldn't have been the one from The Guardian that I posted.

After you've reads this Guardian article, don't forget to remind yourself that it was the Bush/Cheney administration that created this.

http://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/dec/07/isis-papers-guardian-syria-iraq-bureaucracy

yeah, but whatever culpability bush & cheney have, and I'm not disputing that, DOES NOT NEGATE the responsibiliy obama has NOW...TODAY!...

and obama's not doing what he could and should...

OBVIOUSLY because of his personal ideological predelictions which he apparently attaches more importance to then the requirements of his PRESIDENTIAL OATH OF OFFICE...

and THAT is a betrayal and a breaking of faith.

Obama should have left the troops in and ISIS would not have taken over. It is all Obama's fault now.

"The Bush Administration later sought an agreement with the Iraqi government, and in 2008 George W. Bush signed the U.S.–Iraq Status of Forces Agreement. It included a deadline of 31 December 2011, before which "all the United States Forces shall withdraw from all Iraqi territory". The last U.S. troops left Iraq on 18 December 2011, in accordance with this agreement."

so the supremely wise and all-knowing barack obama thought it wise to follow through on the groundwork already layed down by george w. bush?

obama must think bush is quite an intellect.

The Iraq Government and the Pentagon later wanted ground troops to stay and Obama refused. It is all his fault. This is what Leon Panetta says in his book, so Obama is why ISIS took over. Obama also said last night no ground troops, confirming it is all his fault.

AP: SOFA Negotiations Thwarted By Iraqi Government. In October 2011, the Associated Press reported that negotiations for a SOFA were derailed after the Iraqi government refused to grant American troops legal immunity:

But talks ran aground over Iraqi opposition to giving American troops legal immunity that would shield them from Iraqi prosecution. Legal protection for U.S. troops has always angered everyday Iraqis who saw it as simply a way for the Americans to run roughshod over the country. Many Iraqi lawmakers were hesitant to grant immunity for fear of a backlash from constituents.

"When the Americans asked for immunity, the Iraqi side answered that it was not possible," al-Maliki told a news conference aturday. "The discussions over the number of trainers and the place of training stopped. Now that the issue of immunity was decided and that no immunity to be given, the withdrawal has started." Poll: Most Americans say send ground troops to fight ISIS

Washington (CNN) While President Barack Obama addressed the nation on ISIS and terrorism Sunday night, a new CNN/ORC Poll finds Americans increasingly displeased with the President's handling of terrorism and more willing to send U.S. ground troops into the fight against ISIS.

***************************************************************

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to defeat ISIS. Even the polls show how to do it. Obama has done nothing to stop ISIS folks, we all know it. He pulled the ground troops out of Iraq and won't put them back in.  He thinks global warming and gun control are more important things to deal with. They bought guns in California that already has gun control.  Global warming is a scam, carbon emissions are declining. The antarctic ice is growing. But let's worry about those things over ISIS? Obama should have kept the troops in like Leon Panetta, the Pentagon, and Iraq all wanted and none of this would have happened.

The world is a tough place for the simple minded. :(

Carbon emissions will decline slightly this year, by about

1%, mostly due to less emissions from China. That is

good news, but it doesn't mean they might be up next

year. It will certainly take more than one year to see

what happens in the future.

It appears China is choking on the U.S. jobs they took.

Jobs they took, or jobs that were given away by corporations here? I don't remember reading about China seizing any of our jobs, just US companies exporting them so they can pay slave wages, while the board of directors are busy putting in an Olympic-size swimming pool at their second summer home in South Florida.

The Iraqi government did NOT want US troops to stay.  Malaki got a much better deal from Iran by requiring US troops to leave.

Incidentally, US has a SOFA with every nation where we station troops.

Obama refused to sign plan in place to leave 10,000 troops in Iraq

"We had an agreement that the president could have signed that would have kept 10,000 troops, less than we have in Korea, that could have created the stability that would have allowed for Iraq to progress," Bush said.

Military leaders in Baghdad and the Pentagon pushed for as many as 24,000, but the White House rejected that amount.

Obama didn't sign it so we know what happened. ISIS is all Obama's fault. Leon Panetta confirmed this in his book.

Please cite a source other than Panetta's self-serving autobiography.  Which Bush, when?  Everything I have seen states that Iraq would not agree to continuation of US troops unless they were subject to Iraqi court system.

Regardless, 10,000 would not do the job anyway.  We had many more in South Korea up until fairly recently.  In addition, the fighting in Korea ended in 1954.

The explanation that troops needed immunity is a straw man because Maliki offered to give troops immunity via executive order. Obama never wanted to keep troops in Iraq, he ran against it so pulled all of them out. Everybody remembers this. Now that troops are needed in Iraq again today to fight ISIS he won't put them back in, so it only proves what obviously happened.
