No. The only other time they actually appeared together, either on the big screen or the small, was on another TV episode a year later. (In other words, they were not generally paired as performers.)

No... though the wife is, in fact, virtually unknown today.


Another hint: His three most iconic roles were in a musical, a western, and a science-fiction movie. (Though a case could be made that these make up only TWO iconic roles...)

I'll spare you the trouble. It was Virginia Gilmore (who??) who Brynner was married to for 16 years and who had a fairly long but undistinguished career playing minor roles in films and on TV.


The name of their show, incidentally, was "Mr. and Mrs." I have no idea how long it ran, but my guess is not very long.


Kind of mind-boggling to imagine Yul hosting a talk show, innit?
