mrdrafe Posted February 19, 2006 Share Posted February 19, 2006 huh, al roberts was achump from day one lettin a dame decide his fate sure he had a good thing goin in bigtown but his girl wanted to go to hollywood town timid as a clown he stayed in bigtown thought to hitch across the asphalt ribbon to see his chick he was driven tumbed a ride with a high roller but the dice came up snake eyes for al crackin his noggin haskell cashed in his chips panicking al covets thy brother and wheels riding toward lalaland he picks up a deadly pair of heels a bad broad who he could not con had him backed in a corner he played along with her schemes and twisted dreams trapped in a hot box apartment they hissed and barked all hours til vera took the phone and made her last call to a neck tie party another sucker punch al took writen all over his face kismet dealt him a bad hand and the joker was on him and in the end fate gave him the finger. I agree that he should have taken over by force. There's a better way to deal with tricky dames, and isn't by just letting them have their way. Fear.
