scorpio Posted March 10, 2006 Share Posted March 10, 2006 I'm trying to find the name of a movie I saw many years ago.Was war movie,can't remember who was in it.One of the characters was an Asian boy called "Little Joe" (I believe ).I think he dies at the end of the movie helping hide children in a cave.I'm really not too sure about this.May have a couple of movies mixed up.Can anyone help me with this? vallo13 Posted March 10, 2006 Share Posted March 10, 2006 One film about hiding kids is 1982's "Don't cry it's only Thunder" with Dennis Christopher and Susan St.James in takes place in Viet Nam and the other is 1960's "Hell To Eternity" with Jeffery Hunter as Guy Gabaldon (true story) who was raised by Japanese/Americans after his parents die. Worked as an interpreter during WWII convinces Hundreds of Japanese to surrender after there General commits suicide during the capture of the Island of Saipan.Not sure about Little Joe.
