JerryCalgary
I just discovered your posting about a Forbidden Hollywood collection coming to DVD in the near future. This is wonderful news! I have a number of the titles in the series which MGM/UA released on VHS in the 1990s - Baby Face, Dance Fools Dance, Employees' Entrance, Heroes for Sale, Illicit, Ladies They Talk About, Night Nurse, The Purchase Price, Red-Headed Woman, Skyscraper Souls, The Strange Love of Molly Louvain, Three on a Match among them. I never was able to collect the entire series, as some simply never surfaced in Canada. These are marvelous little gems well worth seeking out and viewing, films which otherwise may have been completely forgotten (except by TCM). The likes of Barbara Stanwyck, Warren William and Ann Dvorak at their youthful best, as well as Harlow's amazing and amusing redheaded tramp. I'm delighted that Warners are issuing a few on DVD and hope sales will encourage them to issue a few more at a time.
lzcutter
Jerry, Hopefully the Babyface version is the recently restored version. If you've not seen the restored version, you haven't really seen Babyface. I saw the restored version with the deleted scenes put back in and it was like watching a different movie. I highly recommend the restored version to everyone!
