But I missed somewhere in previos posts the title of the book. Is it new one? Bonjour, Senta! Here is the title and publisher of the book: Western: Dizionari del Cinema Author: Gabriele Lucci Published by Electa, Accademia dell'Immagine It's one of a series of books on art and cineman and full of gorgeous photos. I was thrilled that so many Gary Cooper and John Ford movies are included. I found a website with a page about the book: http://www.electaweb.it/catalogo/eseguiRicerca?tipo=&tipovis=&cognome=&titolo=Western&cod_collana=&materia=&isbn=&tipocontrib=&cognomecontrib=
Senta
Hi Ms Goddess, Thank you for the link and title. It's a pity it is in Italian, but you say that there are mostly photos in it. Regards, Senta

MissGoddess
I wish the print quality of the movie, DOOMSDAY, was as pristine as that lovely still photograph. This is my favorite of Gary's silents, that I've seen so far.
Senta
I love it too. Cowboy and the Lady is one of my favorites as well. I tryed to collect stills which shows pics which wasn't in the actual movie. Something was left out. Just wait I have more to come. How about Saratoga Trunk at the moment.
Senta
I'm not surprised that it is my favorite silent too. But the print of it is good if you comare with some others, Nevada for example. And some of the movies we hadn't ever seen. I think that studios now begin to turn to silents. Some Ford's and DeMills were released recently. So I hope they will restore and release some of Gary's as well.
MissGoddess
I hope more silents get the attention they deserve. As you say, recent developments do make that prospect seem more likely. I adore SARATOGA TRUNK! Gary's "Clint Maroon" is one of the most devilshly attractive characters he ever played. And that's another stunning image for The Cowboy and the Lady. CoopsGal
These pictures are huge, Angie and Senta! WOOHOO! I love seeing the detail in his face...and the look of pure, wretched jealousy on the faces of the women. They want him...they ALL totally want him. ...So does Burt Lancaster. It's written all over his face. His beauty is almost depressing...
