butterscotchgreer
_*GASPS!!*_ ANGIE! how could you do such a thing to me! dreaming AGAIN about my melody jones!! this is outrageous, and after i promised not to have another will cane dream! ....well at least you werent doing any funny business with him, thats good.....but i shall still seak revenge on this one!.... oh by the way i had another gary dream the night before last night. i forgot to tell you on the phone. every time i called you, i forgot to tell you. heehee! he had *overalls* on again...with the hat!! heehee! never fails, never fails....not that i want it to fail. in my dream, i was working at the Hyatt - how do you like that, even in my dreams i have to take work home with me heehee - and gary came in looking around at everything and i wasnt paying attention, unfortunately, and he came to the counter wanting to buy some sun screen, and i looked up and saw him there. i completely froze in my place and he was just looking at me waiting for me to take his money for the item. after a few minutes he smiled and took my hand and put the money in it, and sais, "have a wonderful day" and just walked away, leaving his cell phone on the counter (what gary was doing with a cell phone, ill never know)...after i woke out of my coma, heehee, i was beside myself telling myself how stupid i was for not saying anything.....then about half an hour later he came in again wearing his swimming trunks!!! this time, i ran to him with the cell phone and rushed out the words all at once. goodness! he just smiled and immidiately grabbed me and kissed me. then i asked him why he did that. i can believe i did that! how silly, i always ask the dumbest questions in my gary dreams! heehee! he didnt say anything , but smiles really beautifully. then my manager walks in and i walked out with him completely ignoring her. then i woke up. coopsgirl
Amy just seems too immature for marriage. Clearly, she does love Will. She doesn?t want him to stay b/c she doesn?t want him to get hurt and she does come back to shoot one of the bad guys. But, love isn?t always enough to keep a relationship going. Like you said, you can?t be selfish. Will is giving up his whole way of life for her by leaving his job and his town and what?s she doing for him? Nothin? that?s what!! I would think that it would always bother her that she killed someone. I can imagine that would be a pretty hard thing to get over. I mean, even after all that, does she understand why Will had to stay or is she still clueless? I think the only way that marriage works is if Amy ?grew up? and finally realized that it was the right thing for him to stay; that he was not doing it to show how macho he was but to protect the town and also to keep the bad guys from coming after them for the rest of their lives. Will is obviously more mature so maybe he can forgive her for the way she acted, but only if she has also realized the error of her ways. If she's still acting like a little girl who doesn?t know what marriage really is, then he?ll be an eligible bachelor again in no time .

coopsgirl
That dream was too funny!!! I?m so jealous that you dreamed about him in swim trunks **swoons**. You crack me up too always asking him questions when he tries to love up on you. You gotta stop doing that ? ha! I had another good dream about him a couple day?s ago. There was some ?funny business? going on in this one and he looked like he did in *Friendly Persuasion*. We were in this beautiful hotel room and everything in it was red. The bedding, carpet and even the curtains was a real deep red. It was really pretty though and not trampy looking or anything; it was really elegant. We never got out bed though , even during the day. I tell you, if I could just sleep all day and dream about him I would :x. Except I do have bills to pay so I guess that wouldn?t work ? ha! The ink would still be fresh on the divorce papers and I would rush in to mend poor Will's broken heart :x.
coopsgirl
*The pics I like best are about polar opposites- the one from "Marco Polo" in which Gary's face is sooo very smooth and dimpled, and then the one from "Mary Deare" in which he is all scruffy and tousled....* That is funny! He looks beautiful in both of them . I like him a little dirty and messy looking too :x. I really like his haircut in *Mary Deare*, it looks really modern and very nice on him. JackFavell
I like em a little messy, myself. I especially like him in Meet John Doe before he gets all cleaned up- he's so desperate looking and unshaven.....
coopsgirl
The second he came on the screen in *Meet John Doe*, I shot straight up on my couch, my jaw dropped and I fell head over heels in love with him :x. He?s scruffy and so pitiful; also you can see all that glorious chest hair. Is it getting hot in here or is it just me?
butterscotchgreer
i know, i have never dreamt about him in swimming trunks before, that was so awesome! his chest hair was so soft. when he pulled me in for the kiss i remember feeling his chest hair against my arms, because they went in the air when he kissed me.( i could still feel it when i woke up too...again) heehee! well one of them did. the other one of my hands was around his neck. heehee! i know i gotta stop those silly questions, i dont know why i do them! but he seems to enjoy them by smiling WITH DIMPLE ACTION going on in those cheeks. heehee! i still remember that one dream where he kissed me and i placed me fingers in his dimples. phew! i could still feel it when i woke up!...so smooth!....wow! its getting hot in here. heehee! honestly ang! such indecorous behavior you have in those funny business dreams. heehee! figures everything was red...in a hotel room too. tsk, tsk, tsk.....well at least he didnt loose you under white covers this time. did it last longer this time? are they still getting shorter and shorter? *The ink would still be fresh on the divorce papers and I would rush in to mend poor Will's broken heart .* i bet you would, and dont forget to stay away from my melody....just in case you forgot. heehee! we cant have you going around committing bigomy with my man now can we? coopsgirl
*well at least he didnt loose you under white covers this time.* That?s true! His tanned skin looked really good against those red sheets. *did it last longer this time?* That made me laugh out loud!! Yes this dream was a little longer than some of my other recent ?funny business? dreams. I remember when I woke up getting tickled that it was during the daytime. Those types of dreams are usually set at night. We had the curtains closed (don?t want to give people a free show!) but you could still see daylight coming through them. I?m not sure why I wasn?t at work but I didn?t seem to care . *dont forget to stay away from my melody....just in case you forgot. heehee! we cant have you going around committing bigomy with my man now can we?* Well seeing as how I?m not usually married to him in my dreams, it wouldn?t be bigomy . I?ve only had two dreams where we were married and they were both clean.

butterscotchgreer
sorry it took so long to reply, i have been trying to become a member of the helen mirren association society, but i keep running into things. heehee! *That?s true! His tanned skin looked really good against those red sheets* stop that!! im getting hot in here! *That made me laugh out loud!! Yes this dream was a little longer than some of my other recent ?funny business? dreams. I remember when I woke up getting tickled that it was during the daytime. Those types of dreams are usually set at night. We had the curtains closed (don?t want to give people a free show!) but you could still see daylight coming through them. I?m not sure why I wasn?t at work but I didn?t seem to care .* just what i wanted to know, you were in bed with gary in the day time. heehee! honestly ang! why are you caring wether you were at work or not? you were with gary for crying out loud! at least they arent getting any shorter anymore. oh my goodness im trying to remember the dream i had last night.....i know gary was in it, and so was helen mirren and greer. i even had an english accent in this dream and so did gary! i remember waking up thinking, "oh my goodness, gary was english!" i can only remember parts of it and am trying to remember more. it was like one of her prime suspect movies, except less graphic. heehee! we were on our way to a movie premier of helen's latest movie and when we got there the entire movie theater was empty. we all wondered why and so did helen of course, b/c it was the premier for HER movie. we walked a little more into the movie theater and greer spotted a dead body and screamed at the top of her lungs. gary calmed her down buy giving her a hug and i wasnt even jealous. me and helen were too worried about the dead body. heehee! we didnt know who it was, just some poor girl. well me, helen, gary, and greer decided that we would search for the killer. so we searched all over this empty pitch black theater. i cant remember some of the things we did inside that theater, but i remember all the clues aded up to joan crawford being the killer! we never caught the killer, b/c i woke up, but when i woke up i was so tickled that all the clues added up to joan crawford being the killer! it was like a scooby-doo mystery, and gary was freddy, greer was daphne, and me and helen were a combo of velma. we were all best friends, but unfortunately we didnt have a scooby or a shaggy with us. heehee! i wanna have the rest of that dream so badly!! MissGoddess
Beautiful pix from The Virginian, Vera!! This is the movie that really put him on the road to stardom and to me he will always be the real embodiment of the western hero-with-no-name. I saw Randy Scott's version and though he really was a Virginian, I don't see him as that character. Gary was also just the right age to play it. Senta
I've heard that Randy Scott was training Gary on the right accent (Virginian). But I haven't seen no other version of Virginan. It is 5 or 6 exisits. But truly now I too can't imagine enyone in this part.

MissGoddess
I love both The Real Glory and The Wedding Night. The former is a rousing, old fashioned "Saturday matinee" type of adventure with, for a change, a good romance that doesn't get too overwhelmed by all the action. Plus, you get Gary acting with one of my favorite character players, Brod Crawford (he even grown Orchids! lol) The Wedding Night is rather underrated to me---there is a nicely woven thread of seriousness throughout and the ending is...well, I don't want to spoil it, but folks you just won't see it coming.
