coopsgirl
I saw that about *Blossoms in the Dust* over at the Home Theater Forum site this morning. Initially, they said it was going to be part of a box set of a holiday films collection and then somebody posted a link to what looks like just the individual movie. I love that pic from *MJD*, it's one of my faves from that one. The looks on their faces are great. Barbara looks sad and almost defeated but Gary has a look of steely determination - oooh I just love it!!! :x

Yes, enjoy your peacefulness while you can! how was your last day of Jury Duty? It was fine and easy and I was home by 4:00 which is always nice. I don't have to be picked on again for another eight years. Goodness! I can't even think that far ahead. I hope I won't still be in New York anyway to worry about it! butterscotchgreer
*No, I ran out of that a while ago although I sometimes ask him to let me have some of his own stash.* thats sad! heehee! you liked it that much? it must have been wonderful...im trying to save my french tea as long as i can, but im afraid im probably going to run out soon. heehee! i save it for special occasions, like tea parties. heehee! i think you should make puppy dog eyes at him, maybe thatll do the trick. heehee! MissGoddess
i think you should make puppy dog eyes at him, maybe thatll do the trick. heehee! He's very generous, I just have stand in front of his desk and he knows without my asking to give me some of his tea. I have some tea at home I bought in Paris (not from the same shop as yours) and I'm trying to make that last. It's a "tisane" (a mixture of flowers and herbs) to help you fall asleep so sometimes I have it at bedtime.

butterscotchgreer
hey guess what i read yesterday guys!!!!! i was reading ann coulter's column having to do with politics of course. she is a strong conservative like me and she compared gary in High Noon to George Bush. i thought it was the cutest thing!! "George Bush is Gary Cooper in the classic western "High Noon." The sheriff is about to leave office when a marauding gang is coming to town. He could leave, but he waits to face the killers as all his friends and all the townspeople, who supported him during his years of keeping them safe, slowly abandon him. In the end, he walks alone to meet the killers, because someone has to. That's Bush. Name one other person in Washington who would be willing to stand alone if he had to, because someone had to. OK, there is one, but she's not in Washington yet. Appropriately, at the end of "High Noon," Cooper is surrounded by the last two highwaymen when, suddenly, his wife (Grace Kelly) appears out of nowhere and blows away one of the killers! The aging sheriff is saved by a beautiful, gun-toting woman."
MissGoddess
ooh that sounds good. is it like a chamomille tea? im surely it tastes much better though Good moring! I think it probably does have some chamomile flowers in it as well as these teeny tiny rosebuds and other flowers---yes it has a very, mild, pleasant taste. I can't say it makes me sleepy but it certainly is relaxing. Right now, though, it's traditional ol' Irish (my fifth cupp! I couldn't wake up this morning to save my life). How's school today?
