Guest Posted April 4, 2006 Share Posted April 4, 2006 I watched this movie about half a year ago on TCM, but I can't remember much about it but I remeber bits and peices of the plot. Two people meet on a streetcar/bus in NYC, because their flowers on their jackets got hitched together. They end up having to sleep in the same apartment together, but the man takes the couch so the woman can have the bedroom. She acidentilly locks herself into the bedroom. Her fiance comes back and they tell him that they are siblings. They all go out to eat at a chinese restaurant, where the fiance finds out, and there is a fight. I can't even remember how the movie ends. I know that this is not a lot of information, but I was hoping that maybe I'd get lucky, and someone would have an idea what I'm talking about. Heidilea Posted April 4, 2006 Share Posted April 4, 2006 Yes, I am happy to say I do know this movie!! It is "Sunday in New York" 1963, starring the oh, so handsome Rod Taylor and a young Jane Fonda. This is a movie I have in my personal collection. I love it! I watch it at least once a year. It begins exactly as you describe. They get stuck together on a bus in NYC on a Sunday because the flower pin she is wearing on her jacket gets stuck on his jacket. I hope you get a chance to watch it again, it is a fun movie!
