filmlover
I don?t know if someone has mentioned it on another thread but Canada is giving Fay Wray a stamp on May 26th, as part of a series of four ?Canadians in Hollywood.? The painting is of Fay Wray as Ann Darrow and in the background is King Kong on the Empire State Building fighting the airplanes. At this time, it is unknown who the other three will be, but it is likely that the four stamps will consist of two men and two women. That said, I am guessing that the other woman will be Mary Pickford. One of the men will probably be Lorne Greene and my guess for the last will be John Candy. We can have a game for the next few days. Who do you think the three will be? Let?s set the deadline as April 12th, and then I will check back in to see who is closest when the official announcement of all four is made

filmlover
Actually, there's no reason why she shouldn't be one choice. She fills out the two most important requirements: 1. she was born in Canada and 2. she's dead.
filmlover
I just received the Canada Post Office magazine announcing the four Canadian actors to get stamps in the Canadians in Hollywood series. Fay Wray was already known to be getting a stamp, but I am genuinely surprised that I got the other three right. They are Lorne Greene, Mary Pickford, and John Candy.
