benwhowell
One that "sticks out" in my mind is from the original(!) "A Star Is Born." I saw "it" on a DVD I bought at a discount store for one dollar. It is, uh, a dangling ****. (Can I write that on this forum?) It belongs to Fredric March...can you say "well hung." Oops, I went too far...
Wayne
In "Remember the Night" (1940), Beulah Bondi flubs a line in a scene with her & Fred MacMurray, but she quickly corrects herself.....and they left it in. She plays his mother and is recalling Fred's childhood. She says, "Remember how bad...well, you weren't really bad...but remember when you took my egg money...." I could be wrong---maybe the line was written that way, but the look on her face made me think she'd misspoken and was trying to word her way out of it.
