vallo13
Wow, sorry to here that. What a shame. No matter what people thought about her she was always fighting for the cure for Aids.Which isn't a bad thing. Hopefully she'll get well. vallo
bansi4
One of the last big movie stars of the Golden Age of Hollywood. Her beauty was breathtaking. It doesn't seem possible. Hang in there Elizabeth Taylor.
shearerchic04
i kinda don't believe it because they've said it so many times before, but then again she does have congestive heart failure, so it might be true. man she needs some healing. it's weird that her and debbie reynold are the same age and jane powell is older than her by 3 years, but yet they are mobile and in excellent physical health. it seems, that after liz had brain surgery to remove that tumor, she never was truly herself again. path40a
Sorry to hear this, I hope that she recovers. She's left us so many wonderful performances on film, from the time that she was a child (and was stunningly beautiful, particularly in her early adulthood). In 1997, when I was diagnosed with a cystic astrocytoma in my cerebellum (a benign brain tumor), it gave my mother strength before my operation to know that Ms. Taylor had (only months earlier) just had hers successfully removed. My prayers are with her now.
vecchiolarry
Hello, Hope this news is not real. I hope Elizabeth is not dying and not depressed; she is only 74 and that's too young now-a-days to give up. She certainly lived the grand life of a real true movie star. Jewels, yachts and husbands. She had hutzpah and a certain devil may care attitude to everything. So beautiful and glamourous and a pretty good actress to boot!!!! Get well soon, Elizabeth and don't give up. We need glamour in the world today and a real beauty to behold, not artifice........ Larry
vecchiolarry
Hi, Apparently, Miss Taylor's publicist issued a statement saying that she is well but sometimes confined to a wheelchair because of her back. The Daily Mail in Britain is the equivalent of sewer reportage gone berserk. They will make up anything and print it and dare the victim to respond. Then it becomes a bigger news story and is picked up by other press and media and becomes gospel. Larry
MattHelm
Thanks for that update. Most of the British press is either tabloid or borderline. I was cynical but wanted to get people ready for it in case it was the real turtle soup. Turns out that it's merely the mock. I'm glad, not only is she a great actress and a compassionate being, but one of the sexiest women in our time.
