WRJ, here is an article that may be of interest regarding Wallace Reid Jr.

Wallace Reid Jr. (1917-1990) was born William Wallace Reid in Los Angeles, the descendant of several generations of film and stage actors. His father was actor-director-writer Wallace Reid (1891-1923); his mother, actress-producer-writer-director Dorothy Reid (1895-1977). Dorothy Reid, n?e Davenport, was the daughter of actor Harry Davenport (1866-1949) and actress Alice Shepard Davenport (1864-1936). Wallace Reid, son of actor Hal Reid, died of renal suppression and pneumonia brought on by morphine withdrawal when Reid Jr. was around five years old. Wallace Reid Jr. appeared as an actor in a handful of films in the 1930s and early 1940s, including North West Mounted Police (Paramount, 1940).

Married Ruth Dugan (? - 28 February 1990) (his death) 2 children.

His primary career was as a Los Angeles-based architect of condominiums and apartments.

The Wallace Reid Jr. Collection spans the years 1887-1975 (bulk 1920s and 1930s) and encompasses 0.2 linear foot. The collection consists of miscellaneous material relating to the Reid family, including Wallace Reid Jr., Wallace Reid, Dorothy Reid, and Alice Shepard Davenport. Among the material is a small amount of correspondence; unproduced story material by Dorothy Reid (in the late 1930s she was Story Department head at Monogram); and miscellaneous items relating to drug addiction and alcoholism, including notes on the treatment of drug addicts and literature from DuBry Laboratories in Seattle. A scrapbook contains Alice Shepard Davenport theatrical clippings from the 1880s and two scrapbooks hold clippings concerning, Wallace Reid. More than 800 stills of Wallace Reid in films released between 1915 and 1922 have been incorporated into the Library's core collection production files. Gift of William Wallace Reid Jr., March 11, 1977.
