Because of bein' a member. But anyone can still get them also. Check other post 4-details. This one is my personal fav. of the now too-many specials the institute is having! I've always had the theory that it tells more of a movie-fan/buff, by whom is they're fav. stars/than films>HEROES/HEROINES/ROLE MODELS & all.) Let us know, whom you think they snubbed? Personally, for me: Natalie Wood-(I know she's no: Garbo! The latter of which is probably the greatest actress in cinema history! But to me, Natalie shoulda' at least made the 25! venerados
Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn don't belong on that list. As I recall, the rules called for stars that debuted in 1950 and before. They both made their debuts in 1951 (Fourteen Hours and Lavender Hill Mob).
