pintorini, TCM showed Faithless this past year. It was during the Robert Montgomery Star of the Month in January, I believe. So, it's worth requesting it, since they may be able to play it again.

My vote is for "The Desert Song" - all three versions. It's been a LONG time since the Gordon MacRae/Kathryn Grayson one was shown. The 1940's one with Dennis Morgan and Irene Manning was shelved when MacRae was issued; I've seen a VHS from Miss Manning's print, but not on TV ever. I know next to nothing about the 1929 one (two-strip Technicolor probably not still extant but just b/w now?) except that it shows up in the database as apparently available for TCM to show. That's the one I'd really, REALLY want to see (since it'd be the first time). And, of course, they need to show (again) "The Red Shadow" short from the '30s along with them.

Hope somebody's listening/reading.

I think I will go and do exactly that. Don't know how I missed it when it came on before ...
