It was on yesterday and I was totally into the movie and the power in my house went "poof" so I missed the end. constarkel
During this last Bette Davis marathon, I managed to record 10 of them. The only ones that I didn't record were "The Petrified Forest" which I already had, and for some strange reason, "Way Back Home" Otherwise, a DVD copy would be on its way to you even now. When TCM decides to show these huge blocks of "never-to-be-played-again" pre-codes all in a row, (starting at 1:00am) we should decide who is responsible for recording what and then divy up the movies afterwards. sandykaypax
tom, I got it on a dvd-r along with 2 others...I haven't watched it yet, though...maybe I could copy the dvd-r? Burn it on my computer? Anyone know if that's possible or if the quality would be ok? Sandy K
sandykaypax
Ok, I went and checked it--I actually burned it onto a dvd-rw, because I had run out of dvd-r's. It is on there with THE PETRIFIED FOREST, BUREAU OF MISSING PERSONS, and THREE ON A MATCH. I think that I would have to burn it onto a dvd-r for it to be compatible with other dvd players...not sure...just got the dvd recorder for Christmas and have been recording like mad! sweetbabykmd
How is the quality when you record in that mode where you can get 3 to a disc?
sandykaypax
I just have a regular tv, not hi-def, and I feel that the quality is pretty good. Even recording in 6-hour or EP mode looks better than a vhs tape in SP mode. Sandy K

My DVD recorder has a built in DVR, so I can record them all to the hard drive and dub as many copies as I want. I'm not sure if I recorded this, but I'll check when I get home tonight.
