Baltimore
Ok, this movie was just on yesterday! Can someone tell me if it wasn't Victor Buono in the movie, Glory Alley? I think it was he who was trying to get at some angle with the prize fighter, but ended up walking away, twice. If it wasn't Victor Buono, then who was that fellow? Thanks! CharlieT
The TCM movie database list about 50 actor/actresses names in the credits and none of them are Victor Buono, so I doubt if it was him. Unfortunately, I didn't see the movie, so I have no idea which on the list is the one you are referring to. If you want to check it out, just click on the movie database link at the top of the page, in the search box choose title and type Glory Alley below it. When the movie comes up, click on the title, go to the end of the list of actor/actresses names and click on the entire cast and crew link. I would think this character would be included in the list. Good luck and good hunting. CharlieT
MikeDouglas
I THINK the guy you are talking about is DAN SEYMOUR. One way to check is to look at the door man in CASABLANCA, the sleazy Vichy-France Police Detective in TO HAVE AND HAVE NOT, or, one of the bad guys in KEY LARGO. I think this may solve it. Dan Seymour and Victor Buono do resemble.
MarkMiller
Yes, they resembled each other, but Victor Buono was much younger. I don't think he even made any films prior to "What Ever Happened to Baby Jane" in 1962.
TheTexasKid
Victor Buono's first credited appearance was indeed in "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane" in 1962, but, apparently, he made an uncredited appearance two years earlier in "The Story of Ruth."
