Ok, I know this is a long way off, but I'm so excited to finally get a chance to see this film. I've kept an eye out for it on TCM for several years now, but I know it hasn't aired in that time. It'll be part of Joseph Cotten day (yipee!) for the Summer Under the Stars month.

Thank you, TCM!

I said this in the Summer Under the Stars thread, but I'll cheer again with you: Thank you, TCM! I've wanted to see this one like crazy.

They're also showing 'The Last Sunset' (1961) on Rock Hudson day. Joseph Cotten has a supporting role in it. This seems to be another obscure movie that's being rolled out for August!

eep! I see that thread now, sorry! I'd thought it was just speculation as to what -might- be playing in August.

I'm so glad I never broke down and bought the Love Letters VHS tape that shows up on eBay now and then - the selling prices are usually ridiculous. August can't come soon enough!

Yes,Thanks TCM!! This is one of my favorite Jennifer Jones films!!! it has been too long since they've shown it.She's wonderful in it.And Joseph Cotten is so underrated! Finally he gets his own day. Please let me know when it comes out on DVD.What are they waitng for??When is Jennifer going to get a star of the month? has she had one that I missed??

I am so happy TCM is finally, finally having a Joseph Cotten day. I've noticed he's getting more of a focus. Last year they did a block of his movies in primetime, they aired some of his movies on his birthday and now he'll have his own day.

I'm looking forward to Love Letters. I've not seen it and it will be good to add to my Joseph Cotten collection
