thingfish
I don't get it - there's a forum devoted to the discussion of films shot in widescreen, but there's no animation forum? Why doesn't this website have one?
inglis
you got me! are we talking about the old classic cartoons? I am new here so I am not sure .
FredCDobbs
Go to google and look up "silly Japanese cartoons forum".
patful
Inglis and Mr. Dobbs are right: if you're speaking of classic cartoons, sounds great. But you might have a hard time selling everyone on a forum for anime, Shrek, and Scooby Doo.
GarboManiac
I love the old cartoons: Disney and Warner Bros. And, as far as I know, they didn't have any computers. They drew them all by hand, and they were so vibrant and mobile. The Japanese just don't cut it for me. They are so stiff. But, my favorites are the old Max Fleischer cartoons. I love Hoppity Goes to Town and Gulliver! Oh, and of course Miss Boop!
thingfish
I can't control what everyone tries to discuss on a forum, but, no, I'm not interested in discussing mainstream children's cartoons of today - this would be for classic animation, whatever that entitles. patful
Some might be interested in that. Maybe post the question in General Problems. TCMWebAdmin will usually answer questions there promptly. Maybe they could put a cartoon section in the Genre Forums.
JackBurley
I would suggest mentioning it on the TCM Feedback page: http://www.tcm.com/TCMCFA/feedback.jsp
