African-Americans for Clinton? You Really Should Read This

And by the way, if there's any woman out there who doesn't know by now that Republicans are against her reproductive rights, she must've been living under a rock for quite some time.

She's probably a Republican.

for what it's worth....

Harry Belafonte says Sanders’ candidacy is giving an opportunity for “young people — all people a choice to turn this ship of state called America around and place it on a new course. That’s why I’ve endorsed Bernie Sanders.”

Belafonte said Sanders represents “a moral imperative” and a “certain kind of truth that’s not often evidenced in the course of politics.”

what truth???

that people oughta hate on the rich?

since when has hatred or animous ever lifted living conditions?

okay, there's an imbalance between rich and poor but sanders waging war on our economic system will help no one.

lets be a little rational here. even DONALD TRUMP has spoken to the unfairness of hedge funds but a president sanders declaring war on wall street will help nobody.

nobody is going to go to bed on a full stomach simply from hostility.

sanders pontificates about unfairness. okay. lets see HIS living accoutriments. :)

Revolutions cannot wait.  They happen because people have already waited far too long for change that did not come.

that is quite true but too heated feelings only lead to violence and a reign of terror mentality.

life is full of unfairness for everybody everywhere.

but we can't just run amuck because of our unrealized expectations.

I wish I had more ram installed on my computer but I'm not gonna start a revolution over it.

bernie sanders has about as much chance of becoming potus as donald trump has to become revered for his natural humility. :D

I hope you are joking with us as word should have spread to where you live by now that segregation is over, lol.

I didn't invent the reputation. I heard it from a bunch of people employed as wait staff.

Maybe they're fibbing about it, ay.

Bernie's running amok now and preaching violence?  Yeah, right.

You are one sorry dude who is completely afraid of any change whatsoever.  You sit there and convince yourself that ALL change is evil.  I feel sorry for you, nipkowdisc.

I suppose if you were around in 1776 you would have been telling everyone to calm down too.

Ever since the Occupy Wall Street movement, the right-wing media, at the behest of the financial elite, has pushed this idea that the left wants to conduct some sort of French Revolution Reign of Terror on the poor innocent Wall Street bankers. Sanders and Warren want crooks to be held accountable for things that get the rest of us prison time. I can be arrested and sentenced for fraud and robbery. The way things are at the moment, the same does not hold true for the banker class. They currently hold the power to destroy lives, steal pensions that people worked their entire lives to build, plunge the nation and consequently the rest of the world into chaos, and there are no serious efforts to change that. That's why people support Sanders.

What planet are you living on? It can't be Earth because Socialists has done everything you said there in an eggshell. But let's wait for Bernie to be nominated before we hatch that chick.

Well, go ahead and list the Socialsts that were employed at Goldman Sachs, Lehmann Brothers, Citibank, etc. in 2008.

That's not what I meant and you know it, but let's not debate reality.

What are you talking about? My post said Wall Street was full of crooks that destroyed pensions and sent the national and international economies into chaos. I was referring to actual events that actually occurred in 2008. I then said Sanders and Warren are the only consistent voices pledged to stop it.

Then you said socialists are guilty of those crimes.

I asked you what socialists were guilty of causing the actual event that happened in reality.

Are you still confused?

Tell us please.  Socialists have never had control over anything in your country because of the right wing fear factor.

Let's blame someone who isn't even in the room to deflect the criticism from the utter mess Bush put the entire world in.  And you want to go back to those good old days?

Let's see, Obama, a lefty Democrat, has been in office 7 years as President and controls the Justice Department, could have filed charges against all the evil bankers you guys keep complaining about. Well he never did, so that argument now is mute. You got the big Hope and Change and came up snake eyes.

That's true. Obama, like the Clintons, only talks the talk really. Unlike Hilary though, Obama was not deliberating lying - it just turns out that he isn't wise enough to know how to fight for the ideals he preached. Also, he became afraid when he realized the enormity of the corrupt political/corporate/military system. His legacy - aside from being the first African-American President - is as the one whose gifted rhetoric went not just unrealized, but un-pushed as well.

Sanders will never stop pushing. He's the real thing.

Obama was never an active socialist.  He became an actor when in office.  If his government were in Europe it would be considered right wing.

Oh, I forget the Marco Rubio clarion call ..."We don't want to be like the rest of the world."

No, ya'll are probably pining for those good old planation days of 1840.

I'm admittedly biased, but I have a feeling that President Obama will be remembered for a lot more than that. He's probably going to be viewed as a near-great president for restoring the economy, saving the auto industry and enacting comprehensive health care. And he did it with little or no help from the opposition party!

Exactly and Sanders would be far, far, far less successful.  He would accomplish less than Jimmy Carter.

A poll of terms associated with political candidates found that the least liked term of all is Socialist.  People would vote for anybody rather than a socialist.  Which is why Sanders would lose in Nov. and any Republican would win.

Much of this stems from Clinton's strategic move to the center right after the Democrats were pounded in the 1994 elections and lost the House to Newt Gingrich and the Republicans. But Clinton outsmarted the right by taking conservative stands on welfare reform and crime. It worked out for him -- he was re-elected handily in 1996. But he apparently has expressed regrets about the negative impact those measures had on many Americans.

It STILL doesn't clear up the issue of why Darkblue put the word blacks in quotations in the OP.  B)
