DickLindsay
As we all recall, two years ago the Academy started new 'tradition' where they paid tribute to the 75th Anniversary of THE WIZARD OF OZ (a well-deserved tribute), and last year they did a 50th Anniversary tribute to SOUND OF MUSIC (well...... ok.) Has anyone heard what or if they are doing a special tribute this year? Citizen Kane perhaps? (75 years)
slaytonf
Lessee. 2016 minus 75 is 1941. So, 1941. Yeah, C. Kane is a good guess, but I dunno. With competition like Hold That Ghost, Charley Chan in Rio, and Babes on Broadway, seems like a tough sell. My personal preference is for Never Give a Sucker an Even Break, followed closely by The Maltese Falcon.
