darkblue
In that last GOP debate, Trump screamed an anti war stance to the boos of Bush’s and Rubio’s and Kasich’s one percent donors. It’s only half of what needed to be said, but it was a measure of reality that’s desperately needed. The problem in 2002 and early 2003 was that Bush didn’t get those tough questions. Just like there are no real tough questions about U.S. policy in Libya, Syria, etc now. http://www.truthdig.com/report/item/face_it_donald_trump_is_right_on_iraq_sink_hillary_clinton_20160214

Also, the people who are voting in the primaries, especially the Republican, do NOT want to hear the truth. So the candidate(s) lose votes by being honest. I don't know how long he can get away that doing that.
ElCid
Trump is just winging it. I don't know how long he can get away that doing that. Until he wins the nomination. Then he will moderate some and possibly win the election. Sanders can't win and Clinton will be so beat up by then that she won't be able to win. JamesJazGuitar
C'mon, in this case Trump is a Donny come lately. People, mostly on the left, have been pointing out for years the fake WMD scare and the hilarious Bush family theme that Bush II "kept us safe." Yeah, after 3,000 people died, he kept us safe. Great job, Dumbya. While a Republican bringing it up is highly unusual, this would be old news for anyone else. And any shame belongs mostly to Bush II and his chicken hawk buddies. Look out, Jeb! is taking off his glasses and strapping his personalized guns on. Watch out everybody. Politically dead man walking. Still for Trump to mention this at a GOP debate is well something only Trump would have either the guts or foolishness to do (I say a combination of both). The only major GOP figure to come close to Trump's stance on this is Rand Paul.

Supposedly S.C. is the most "military" state per capita in the nation when you consider active military, retirees and National Guard and reserves. However, it won't affect Trump winning in S.C.
