apple refuses to cooperate with the feds to crack the san bernardino berserker couple's iphone...

cute.

obviously apple's executive heirarchy are democrats.

if trump were potus, their money-grubbing little keesters would be in jail charged with impeding justice.

rubio was asked about this apple business the other nite. he starts off saying it was a complex issue then he closes with some bs about the feds and silicon valley working together to settle such tech issues but rubio never once badmouthed apple for their refusal to help out.

strange.

I guess marco figures if it worked so well for obama why not him.

phony misleading bs.

yeah, I'd really trust him on immigration.

You obviously have not read all the ins and outs of what is involved.  Not surprising.

Of course this type of thread from Nip isn't surprising.    One would have to be a nut case to believe the pro-business Trump would order the US Attorney General to have the FBI attest the executives of Apple instead of doing what the justice department is currently doing.

In addition here is another example where Nip wishes Trump to act like a King when he cries like a baby anytime Obama issues an executive order.     But craziness and cluelessness doesn't surprises me.

Strangely, ND, when I was in the car yesterday and heard Glenn Beck's show, his cadre of conservative cronies were all supporting Apple. Their argument is that every iPhone's security would be compromised if this happens, since it requires the creation of a new code that would allow access, and that code would eventually leak to unsavory characters, and thus hackers could then access everyone's info from their phones. Oh, and also because Obama and his Justice Department and Homeland Security want the phone opened, and if Obama wants it, it must be bad.

I wish I was joking about that last part.

Sometimes these issues are met with agreement from both sides -- the far left and the libertarian right. When that happens, I find it very scary.

So you find that fact the left and the libertarian right agree on SSM being legal or the legalization of pot scary?

I'm sorry but to me it is simple.

the feds can't crack the san bernardino berserker couple's iphone to gain info which is needed in the fight to quash islamo-berserkerism.

apple execs can't figure that out???

obviously domestic security is more important than apple wanting to protect their technology.

so many of you miss the broader picture.

this is of course about that subject which almost always confuses progressives.

life and limb.

our life and limb.

America's life and limb.

heaven forbid that should inconvenience apple's encryption technology.

Oh, I see!  You think it is worth the trade of some liberties in order to bolster security in America.  Hmm.  Okay.  So, let's get rid of all the guns in America while we're at it.  That would have prevented these Americans from carrying out their terrorist act and you know what, as a bonus these mass murders of little kids like in Sandy Hook would have been prevented too.

Oh, wait ... but what about the billion dollar weapons manufacturers.  We can't forget about them.  They would go broke and wouldn't be able to lobby and control the American government.  Can't have that.

What a load of hypocritical dung!

Let's get rid of big government and regulations and safety nets for the poor and the middle class but strengthen the police, national security and the military.  You know why?  So it can protect the wealth of the richest 1% and keep everyone else in their place for that 1% needs its stupid moronic worker bees.

And let's put the worker bees in the firing line to protect the wealth of the Cheney's and the Bush's while we're at it.  It's all in the guise of security, after all.

You are such a hypocritical dope.  They love guys like you.

Socialists don't represent the middle class, they only represent the poor because that is where everyone ends up. And Apple is only thinking about their profits over the safety of the Country. Opening the phone has nothing to do with all the other phones, they are lying about this like any liberal politician would.

""No court has ever authorized what the government now seeks, no law supports such unlimited and sweeping use of the judicial process, and the Constitution forbids it," Apple's lawyers wrote in the company's motion to vacate the order."
