babyZ
saw this b/w movie years ago. could be 30s, 40s. handsome leading man popular in his day finds god. it changes his life. he tries to spread the word to people around him. the cast was so big it became hard to follow all the storylines. melodrama, not comedy, not lighthearted, took place in a city (not farm or factory town). i recall the leading man dressed in suits, cosmopolitan. it's not "the next voice you hear." can you guys pull this one out for me - it's driving me nuts! FredCDobbs
I wonder if it could have been ?The Razor?s Edge?? In the movie, Tyrone Power went around the world in search of God and ?the meaning of life?. What he learned was that it was more fun in life to travel around and not work than to stay put in one place and work. But he didn?t do much preaching. Mostly he tried to justify his lack of a job.
